if you don’t recognize it right off the bat, it’s an homage to madonna’s famous naked-hitchhiking photo from her “SEX” book, as seen here:

it was amongst a bunch of the photos DESI took that were in the running for use on my radiohead covers EP later that summer. we thought about making it a poster or something…(we didn’t) but i unearthed it recently, and sean (@indeciSEAN) cleaned it up, and voilà!
